The Money Carer team fully understand the issues and difficulties that can be involved in managing the financial affairs of a loved one and this is why we have introduced the Money Carer service for UK individuals that would benefit from our specialist support services delivered as part of the overall care team. In short, we act as the secure 'money carers' for our clients at their time of need.
Whilst our client is ultimately the person for whom we are managing funds on behalf of, we deliver the Money Carer service as part of the circle of care that our client may be receiving. Hence, we can liaise regularly with family members or domiciliary carers that are proving home care services as well as local authority offices such as social service departments and the DWP.
The needs of each client are always different. Our role is to assess and agree the most appropriate strategy in conjunction with the wider care team as required.
The involvement of the Money Carer service often greatly benefits not only our direct client but also the wider carer team members as we can remove often time consuming and problematic money management tasks along with any potential conflicts of interest that may be apparant.
