Secure Care Circles Explained

To protect client information (and to be fully GDPR compliant), Money Carer has developed a ‘Secure Care Circles’ initiative. This utilises our secure portal and smartphone app.

Secure Care Circles consist of nominated individuals (e.g. carers), or trusted partner organisations (e.g. local authorities), who provide a role in meeting the care needs of our mutual clients. Through our tailored system, these parties come together to form what is known as a client’s ‘Circle of Care’.

Trusted parties are then able to access shared information and documents, and send secure messages via app or online portal. They can also share relevant documentation to be stored on the account (which can be accessed at any time). A full history of all communications is also available in the portal, for additional convenience and oversight.

Given the ‘trusted’ status of Care Circle members, this ground-breaking initiative also facilitates access to standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Thanks to pre-established authorisation, Money Carer can respond to and action requests more rapidly. All of this is enabled through our secure, innovative banking platform, Monika.
