The Carers Shopping Card form The Money Carer Foundation is a more secure way for carers to purchase everyday items on behalf of service users. Typical daily purchases such as food and housekeeping products can be bought by carers using a shopping card issued to them by The Money Carer Foundation. The carers shopping cards operate in a similar way to pay-as-you-go mobile phones in that they can only be used to the amount of funds placed on the card.

The cards can be used in exactly the same way as any other MasterCard and funds belonging to our service user clients can be added to the shopping cards instantly by The Money Carer Foundation. The cards are very popular with carers at it often allows them to free up time as they will no longer need to obtain cash form either the service user they are caring for or from the care organisation office where client cash mey be held.
