A High Court hearing held before Judge Dexter Dias KC on 23rd March 2023, has led to a ruling that has wide ranging implications for local authorities and people with disabilities making claims for Disability Related Expenditure (DRE) payment deductions.
The case between RW and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead resulted in RW, as the Claimant, winning the challenge to the Defendant, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
