Job Title: Appointeeship and Deputyship Client Finance Managers £26,000-£35,000 per annum based on experience.

Position Overview: We are seeking to welcome experienced Appointeeship and Deputyship Client Finance Managers to join our team at different levels depending on experience. In these roles, you will be the first point of contact for social workers, vulnerable clients, and their carers, providing them with vital assistance and information via the telephone and email. Your ability to empathise, communicate effectively, and resolve inquiries promptly will be critical to our mission of improving the lives of those we serve.

Training will be delivered in the UK and from our offices in Umhlanga, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls from social workers, vulnerable clients, and carers professionally and empathetically.
  • Experience of Appointeeship or Court of Protection work an advantage.
  • Provide accurate information, guidance, and support to callers regarding our services, programs, and resources.
  • Record and maintain detailed and accurate records of each interaction in our customer database.
  • Collaborate with our team to escalate and resolve complex inquiries or issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, sending follow-up emails, and processing documentation.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of our services and programs to provide the best assistance to callers.
  • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for handling different types of calls and situations.

Qualifications:

  • O Level/GCSE or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or call centre role, with a track record of providing excellent customer support.
  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills.
  • Empathetic and patient, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of social services and/or related fields is an advantage.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in dealing with sensitive information.
