Pal Sundhu, Head of the Welfare Benefits Department, has launched the Money Carer Wednesday Welfare Wins initiative to share her team’s great work and achievements for our clients every day.
Launched on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024, the weekly news item will appear on social media and the Money Carer website. The first Wednesday Welfare Wins item shared that the week’s welfare benefit wins include a significant backdated PIP payment of £26,112.97. This achievement, a testament to the welfare team’s Roy Bell and Senior Client Manager Sue Green‘s dedication and collective efforts, showcases our team’s ability to secure substantial client benefits.
Another client had her ESA reinstated and arrears of £6,795.90 paid out; this couldn’t have come at a better time as she was down to her last £20 in her account and was struggling to buy food.
