Case Study
‘Louise’ was a troubled youngster. Growing up in difficult surroundings, she suffered abuse and neglect and was prone to outbursts of violence herself.
Now aged 21, Louise is trying to turn her life around with the help and support of The Money Carer Foundation. After deciding she wanted to help people, Louise has chosento do voluntary work in a local hospice and hospital. She hopes that this, coupled with her own life experiences, will assist her to reach her dream of being a social worker so she can help other vulnerable people.
The Money Carer Foundation is supporting her do this as well as managing her benefits on her behalf so she has the resources to undertake her training in the future.
